HUNGARIAN VIZSLA

Hi, we have a 10-week old female Hungarian Vizsla puppy, who has been at home with us now for 2 weeks.  Her day consists of playing, eating, doing her business and sleeping - the typical sort of day for a young puppy!  She wakes and starts playing with her toys etc., but as we interact with her (usually playing fetch), she gets more and more wound up, doing circuits of the livingroom and we can generally do nothing with her.  This behaviour can last for anything between 30-40 mins when she eventually wears herself out and goes to sleep.

We are interested to find out whether this is typical puppy behaviour and what we should do when she starts to get wound up - keep playing with her to wear her out or try to calm her down i.e stop playing with her?  We would welcome your advice!
