23/06/2008, 9:57 AM spanky Joined on 23/06/2008 Posts 2 jrt with puppies my jrt had 5 puppies 2 weeks ago, the past 2 days she has had a slight cough as though shes trying to clear her throat and a clear runny nose.  worried thinking it may be kennel cough but she hasnt had any contact with any other dogs that socialize with other dogs...     ...she is not off her food and goes to the toilet ok and is feeding the puppies great too....the puppies all seem fine and are feeding great too    Report

A quick visit to the vet should give a better diagnosis for Mum. It could be mild kennel cough or another infection associated with respiratory virus so Mum and pups need to be checked over.Is she fully up to date with her vaccinations?    Report
