26/06/2008, 12:25 PM Tim Roe Joined on 31/10/2006 Posts 114 Re: puppy has lump where umbilical cord was. pups frequently have little fibrous lumps at the site of the umbilical cord and should only be of concern if a soft, possibly fluctuating lump appears regularly or intermittently which might suggest a hernia at this point. Your vet or new owners vet should be able to distinguish the difference clearly at first vaccination.    Report
